View Parade Near St. Patrick’s Cathedral – 5th Ave between 50th & 51st Streets

There are a few places that have been recommended for different reasons. One recommendation is to view the parade near St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This will be the best place to spot parade VIP’s but be aware that it will also be very crowded in this vicinity. For those who have never been to NYC, it is also a great opportunity to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Did you know that every year over 5 million people of different nationalities and faiths enter St. Patrick’s Cathedral? Everyone who enters is invited to open their hearts to God.

During the Parade, street traffic is detoured away from 5th Avenue between 44th to 79th Streets. This can cause an overflow on adjacent streets. Due to the fact that there are throngs of spectators in midtown, walking rather than driving is a better idea.

And now, an Irish Blessing:

May God give you, for every storm, a rainbow,

For every tear, a smile,

For every care, a promise,

And a blessing in each trial.

For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share.

For every sigh, a sweet song,

And an answer for each prayer.
