The Leo House will be participating in the High Line Open Studios Art Tour that takes place this weekend, October 12th and 13th from 12pm to 6pm. The show is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

The portion of the art show located at The Leo House will be called “Angels and The City” featuring artists such as Seek One, Ekaterina Ermilkina, Charlotte Lichtblau,Colin O’Brien, Ailene Fields, Marc Potocsky,  Salvador Dali and more. 

High Line Open Studios is a 20 stop art tour throughout the Chelsea neighborhood. A map of all of participating studios can be picked up at The Leo House.

About High Line Open Studios

High Line Open Studios is an annual event spearheaded by local West Chelsea artists who wanted to open their studios to the public. The event was formalized in 2007 and has been growing ever since.

This annual event allows area artists to open their studios to the public. Art lovers, collectors, dealers and visitors are allowed to meet the artists and see first hand where some of the world’s greatest contemporary art is created, before it hangs on museum and gallery walls.

This year is the ten year anniversary of the High Line Open Studios annual event. Presented annually, twice a year, in March, and again in October with its 2-day weekend event. There are now more that 50 – 100 participating artists, with studios located in more than ten buildings throughout the West Chelsea Arts district.

The Leo House is thrilled to be a part of this event which welcomes everyday visitors and art lovers alike. We hope that you will stop by and see some of the beautiful pieces of work that these artists worked so hard to create.
