Dear Friends of The Leo House,

As many of you know, we were not able to hold our Pope Leo XIII Fundraising Gala this year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are sad that we did not have the opportunity to gather in person to celebrate with all of you.

The funds raised at the Gala help us maintain our 90-year old historical building and keep our charitable programs running. Considering the absence of this important event and that we are operating at a reduced capacity of visitors due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are in dire need of your support to continue our operations. We hope that you will consider making a donation or sharing this message with a friend who can donate.

We are still recovering from the financial impact of the pandemic even though we have reopened our doors and are prepared for guests. Our expenses have risen and we have reduced the amount of guests permitted to maintain health and safety protocols , yet we continue to offer the lowest rates in NYC. 

The Leo House hopes that there is a vaccine in the first quarter of 2021 which will help us get back to a normal full Guest House with travelers like you from around the world. In order for us to fulfill this dream, however, we need your help.

Any amount you can give will help us keep going to see a full Leo House.  We hope to be able to continue to serve New Yorkers, as we have done for the past 130 years.
