The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2021 – Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving)

Arguably the best NYC event in November is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. New floats include Ada Twist Scientist, Grogu from Mandalorian™, a new Pokemon Pikachu™ and Eevee™ float, and so much more. The parade even gives back to the community through partnering with Meals On Wheels, providing charity tickets to the parade, giving grants and scholarships to marching bands participating in the parade and more.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be held on November 25, 2021 from 9am to 12pm. The parade route starts at 77th St and Central Park West, then heads down to 34th Street to Macy’s Herald Square.

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt Exhibit

Experience NYC like never before – surrounded by glass at every angle – ceilings, walls and even floors. This immersive art installation by Kenzo Digital enables visitors to take in the sights of NYC through a one-of-a-kind experience. Featuring glass ledges, a glass-bottomed elevator, and walk-through glass rooms, you’ll feel like you’re soaring in the clouds above Manhattan.

Know before you go: avoid wearing a skirt or dress as the mirrored or glass floors can lead to unwanted exposure. Wear comfortable flat shoes because footwear that could damage the experience will not be permitted. Buy tickets ahead of time and contact the exhibit to plan for larger groups. New York City residents receive reduced pricing. Active and retired members of the United States Armed Forces can receive reduced or free tickets.

The entrance to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is located at the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal. The formal address is 45 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017. Visit the exhibit at the following days and times: Thursday – 3PM to 10:30PM, Friday & Saturday – 9AM to 12AM and Sunday – 10AM to 7PM. SUMMIT Tickets start at $39 for an adult and $33 for a child and rise up to $83. You’ll pay higher prices during the evening and sunset and also for special add-ons.
