Happy Thanksgiving 2021

It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving 2021 is upon us already. With this holiday quickly approaching, we realize the certainty of change. We leave behind fall and we look forward to winter. We start decorating for the new celebration for Christmas. If you are grateful and embrace change, you can then see the true beauty that can emerge from it. We are in a new year and while it has been a difficult journey to get here, we hope this Thanksgiving is better than last year for you and your family. In this article, we share a prayer of thanksgiving from St. Jude along with some details about traditions that are coming back to NYC in full effect this Christmas season. We hope to welcome you soon with wide open arms to New York City!

St. Jude Prayer of Thanksgiving

I receive the gifts of God with a grateful spirit. St. Jude, help me to see the blessings that surround me and give me life. I offer you my prayers of thanksgiving. Give me the grace to be ever thankful for the love and mercy of God and also the gift of life every day. May this gratitude inspire me to give generously in all ways to others. Be with me now, St. Jude. Linger with me in gratitude, and let thanks fill my heart, washing away all pain and trouble. May I desire nothing except to be in your presence, walking with you in the world to spread hope, love and thanksgiving among all of God’s children. Amen.
