Our Favorite Easter Bible Passages

During your stay, we invite you to take some time to reflect on the true meaning of Easter. This is a time to celebrate new beginnings, hope, and love. We encourage all of our guests to embrace these values during their stay with us. Whether you choose to attend an Easter service in the area or at our chapel, pray in our garden, or simply spend time with those you love, we hope that your stay at The Leo House embodies joy, peace, and love.

During this special time of year, we remember favorite Bible passages that remind us of the promise of eternal life through our faith in Jesus. One such passage is from John 11:25-26, where Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”

Another favorite passage is from 1 Corinthians 15:55-57, where it says, “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Through Jesus, we have victory over sin and death.

Celebrate Easter in New York City

As we celebrate Easter, we invite guests to join us in experiencing the exciting events happening in New York City. From Easter egg hunts to Easter brunches, there is something for everyone. The annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival is a popular event that takes place on Fifth Avenue and features a parade of participants wearing elaborately decorated hats and costumes.

Looking for a more traditional Easter celebration? There are many churches and cathedrals throughout the city offer Easter services. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, located near The Leo House, is a beautiful and historic church known for its elaborate Easter celebrations.

As we celebrate Easter with our guests, we also want to extend our love and compassion to those in need. This year, we have partnered with local organizations to support to those who are less fortunate. Through our efforts, we hope to spread kindness and compassion and make a positive impact in our community.

We’re proud to continue our tradition of hospitality by welcoming guests from all over the world. We aim to spread the love for all, compassion, and kindness that Jesus exemplified during his time on earth. Happy Easter to all and we hope to welcome you soon to The Leo House.
