First and foremost, we hope this note finds you healthy and safe in these uncertain times. We’re heartbroken with the unfolding of this pandemic and pray for all of you whether you’re in NYC or across the globe. Over the years, we’ve become a global community and this pandemic has affected us all. 

For 130 years, The Leo House has fulfilled a mission of welcoming immigrants and world travelers with open arms to a safe, clean and hospitable guesthouse for all who travel to New York City. While named in honor of Pope Leo XIII, all denominations are welcomed. We hope to continue our work for many years to come but we need your help.

Over the years, we’ve tried our best to keep accommodations affordable for guests and to continue our charitable programs despite rising operating costs. With the current ban on travel, we continue to have expenses with no receipts for the interim.

Now we’re asking for your help.
