NYC Fleet Week 2022 Schedule: Celebrate the United States Navy, Marines and Coast Guards

What is NYC Fleet Week?

NYC Fleet Week 2022 is an annual tradition when we honor and celebrate the United States Navy, Marines and Coast Guardsmen through activities and events. Since 1982, Fleet Week allows members of the sea services to enjoy the city while giving citizens of New York and surrounding areas the opportunity to witness the capabilities of the maritime services. This year, NYC Fleet Week will be celebrated between Wednesday, May 25, through Tuesday, May 31st. Over 2,000 members of the sea services will be visiting the five boroughs of New York City for various military demonstrations, celebrations, processions and activities. NYC Fleet Week 2022 is especially exciting as it is the return of in-person Fleet Week since the pandemic caused the events to go virtual for the past two years.

Public Ship Visitations and Aircraft Displays

The ships that transport our seafaring military members will also be a part of the celebrations. The public will be able to visit watercraft and aircraft which will be docked and available for visitation at piers 86, 88 and 90 in Manhattan and Homeport Pier in Staten Island. While you’re there, you can also visit the Intrepid Museum. The ships you can visit during Fleet Week including the following:

  • USS Bataan, an amphibious assault ship from Norfolk, VA (at Pier 88)
  • HMS Protector from the United Kingdom (at Pier 90)
  • 4 U.S. Naval Academy YPs (yard patrol craft) from Annapolis, MD (at Pier 86)
